In A New York Minute by Kate Spencer

In a New York Minute

Kate Spencer

Franny Doyle is having the worst day. She’s been laid off from her (admittedly mediocre) job, the subway doors ripped her favorite silk dress to ruins, and now she’s flashed her unmentionables to half of lower Manhattan. On the plus side, a dashing stranger came to her rescue with his (Gucci!) suit jacket. On the not-so-plus side, he can’t get away from her fast enough.

Worse yet? Someone posted their (entirely not) meet-cute online. Suddenly Franny and her knight-in-couture, Hayes Montgomery III, are the newest social media sensation, and all of New York is shipping #SubwayQTs.

Only Franny and Hayes couldn’t be a more disastrous match. She’s fanciful, talkative, and creative. He’s serious, shy, and all about numbers. Luckily, in a city of eight million people, they never have to meet again. Yet somehow, Hayes and Franny keep running into each other—and much to their surprise, they enjoy each other’s company. A lot. But when Franny’s whole world is turned upside down (again!), can she find the courage to trust in herself and finally have the life—and love—she’s always wanted?

🫢🏻My Review Posted without spoilers🫢🏻

First off I cannot express how much I LOVED this book. I listened to it via the Libby app and read along with my hardback copy. Franny & Hayes, I love these two characters so much. From beginning, to the middle & to that ending. I was rooting for them both. First off, loved the narration listen to it and to me while reading along it made the characters become more alive for me. Man, would I love if this book had a follow up. I absolutely, highly recommended this book. Solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five let me shout it out, Five star read. Thank you Franny & Hayes. Thank you for such an awesome and enjoyable read.

When We Let Go by Rochelle B. Weinstein

When We Let Go by Rochelle B. Weinstein

When Avery Beckett is proposed to by Jude Masters, a widowed father and the man she loves, it should be a time of great joy. Instead, Avery is on edge. She’s wary of the idea of family, doubtful of happy endings, and too afraid to take the leap. It’s the kind of fear that comes from having secrets.

Before Avery commits to a new life, she must reconcile with the one she left behind.

When Avery returns to her childhood farm in the North Carolina mountains, she’s surprised to be saddled with a companion: Jude’s teenage daughter, Elle, who’s grappling with the loss of her mother and the complicated emotions of first love. On a path of mending wounds and breaking down walls, Avery and Elle form an unexpected alliance. It’s giving them the courage to move forward. And for Avery, everything she needs to confront the past.

An emotional tale of mothers and daughters, loss and acceptance, When We Let Go is about the lessons that come from heartbreak and the healing it takes to embrace the joy of a second chance.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.πŸ’« Read. My Review no Spoilers.πŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ‘‡πŸΌ

This was such a real and I mean real read for me personally. Raw, tugged at the heart strings and really hit me. It’s been awhile since a book & its characters have done that. Avery & Elle, you’ll stay with me for quite sometime. I highly recommend this book to your family & friends. Phenomenal read.

Thank you for my copy of this book & letting me be on this book tour. This is one that I’ll definitely be keeping on my bookshelf & letting my Mom borrow.

Bradford Bastard by Sheridan Anne

There are three things I know for sure.

One, hot wax on the coochie ain’t for everybody.
Two, diamonds aren’t a girl’s best friend—tampons are.
And three, Tanner Morgan is an asshole.

I’m sure if I hadn’t spilled beer all over him and gave a subtle suggestion of where he could shove his best friend’s dick, perhaps we would have started out on a better note. How was I supposed to know that the dude was the captain of Bradford Private’s precious football team? I had just witnessed my boyfriend three inches deep inside some random girl. Surely you can't blame a girl for word vomit after such a traumatic experience.

King Jock meant nothing to me. He was just some self-important asshole I was never going to see again. At least, that’s what I thought.

When my mom came home and told me we were moving in with her rich-prick boyfriend and his perverted son, I was pissed.
When she enrolled me in Bradford Private and said there wasn’t a damn thing I could do about it, I was furious.
But when I found out that Tanner Morgan was my brand-new, motorcycle riding neighbor, I was screwed.

Nobody gets away with insulting the King of Bradford Private, and because of that, I just became Tanner Morgan’s most exhilarating game. He won’t stop until I’ve turned to ashes beneath his feet, but unfortunately for him, playing him at his own game just became my newest obsession.

Bradford Bastard is a M/F, Enemies to Lovers, High School, Contemporary Romance series. It contains explicit sexual content, sexual abuse, graphic violence, drug abuse, and coarse language. This series is recommended for mature readers.
