I absolutely had such a wild ride with the second book in the series and the finance chapter of Broken and Screwed. I really enjoyed the second book more over the first. I am now such a HUGE fan of Tijans writing. This is only my second book by her and I’m already got books bought and audibles as well.
These characters will definitely leave their mark on me for quite sometime. I’d would have loved for a third book in this series but definitely book 2 was so much more. Alex & Jesse. These two. OMG. They history of their story. Plus all the other characters of this book just made it even more enjoyable. I laughed, cussed, had OMG moments & cried too. Highly recommend this series. Alex & Jesse & friends will leave their mark on me. Fantastic book by Tijan. Definitely an auto buy Author now!❤️❤️

Not so much.
Alexandra is pissed about her parents abandoning her. She's beyond pissed that her friends did the same. She's enraged because things are unclear about her brother's death now. So her first stop is at Jesse's house to demand answers. She wants to know why her brother was friends with the criminal crowd before he died and she knows he holds the answers. Alex is tired of being hurt so she's learned the lesson not to confide and lean on others. However, she can't seem to help herself when it comes to Jesse Hunt. The big question isn't if she will survive if their relationship goes public, it's if she will survive when the real truths about her family and brother come out?
