Playing By The Rules (The Players) By Monica Murphy

What happens when you fall for your brother's best friend? Find out in this upcoming sports romance by New York Times bestselling author Monica Murphy...

Camden Fields is the star quarterback of our college football team.

Quiet.

Smart.

Absolutely gorgeous.

He’s the man all the women on campus rave about. And while he’s had a few casual hookups over the years, it’s never anything serious. Cam doesn’t do serious.

He also doesn’t do me.

See, I’m his best friend’s little sister, and whenever we’re around each other, he’s always warning me that I’m off limits. That nothing can ever happen between us.

But I see the way he looks at me when he thinks I’m not watching. The heat in his gaze. The hunger. He can deny it, but that man wants me.

I want him too.

I’m tired of always being the good girl and doing what everybody expects. For once, I’m going to break all the rules that have restrained me my entire life.

I’m going after Camden Fields.

And no one can stop me.

Into the Tide: A Small Town, Brother's Best Friend Romance Laura Pavlov Book 1 of 5: Cottonwood Cove Series

She’s my best friend’s little sister. Completely off-limits. But every man has his breaking point.

Lila James is my best friend’s little sister and I’ve always looked out for her.
She's five years younger than me, and when she left for college, she was just a kid.
But now she’s home for the summer—and she’s definitely not a kid anymore.
She’s beautiful and smart and everything I didn’t know I needed.
Dark eyes. Long wavy hair. And legs that are meant to be wrapped around me.
I'm the guy who likes to have a good time.
Keep things light.
When her brother asks me to hire her at my restaurant, it's a no-brainer.
There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for her.
Until she asks me for one more favor.
She wants me to be her first.
Take her V-card.
Go where no man has gone before.
Her words, not mine.
And damn if I don’t want to go there more than I’ve ever wanted anything.
She's only here for the summer, and she says it will be our secret.
It’s temporary.
We’ll go back to being just friends at the end of summer.
She promises that she won’t fall for me.
She knows better.
But Lila isn’t the one I'm worried about.

Rediscovering a life the heroine can't remember while living the life she's been given, her amnesia journey will keep you riveted to the pages.

Loch

I wish I could say it was love at first sight. But I can't.

Snarky.
Impatient.
Demanding.

Everything about the woman standing next to me was complicated, from her designer clothes to her coffee order. I don't do complicated unless it comes with a good time. And then it's only for a night or two, max.

I was more than happy to leave the coffee shop, and her, behind, but neither of us saw what was coming . . .

Tuesday

I wish I could say I remember him. But I can't.

Patient.
Generous.
Handsome.

The same stranger who saved me steps in again when I have nowhere to go and no memory of who I am. He's broody and rigid, but I see a different side of this gorgeous man and start to realize I'm not the only one who needs saving.

Falling for him wasn't in my plans, but as I search for answers to my past, I realize that I don't worry about getting my memory back. My fear is losing my life twice.

This book is a complete standalone with no cheating and guaranteed happily-ever-after. If you'd like to spend more time with the hero, you can meet him in his brother's book, Swear on My Life (now available). You are going to fall head over heels for the Westcott Siblings.

Hockey with Benefits Tijan

Hockey with benefits. That was what Mara proposed, and I was down.

She said no feelings and she meant it.

Just benefits. No strings attached. Nothing else. Not even friendship.

College was her escape, including us.

I didn't have time for a girlfriend.

I had classes, the team, my family, and the game.

It was all working too...

Until somewhere down the line, things got messy.

Until somehow we were dealing with threats, secrets, rivals, and so much more.

Until I began to want her in ways that weren't part of the deal.

Our agreement didn't just get checked into the wall, it got obliterated.

More Than I Could by Adriana Locke

More Than I Could by Adriana Locke

Part of: Coming Home (11 books)

This grumpy single dad falls hard for the nanny.

Chase Marshall is many things:

· An attentive single dad

· Jaw-droppingly gorgeous

· My employer for the next thirty days

He’s also the bane of my existence.

He swears I’m a never-ending headache—the most infuriating woman he’s ever met.

If I’m so irritating, then what’s up with the lingering looks when he thinks I’m not watching?

The seemingly innocent touches while making breakfast?

The smirk that graces his kissable lips after one of our verbal spars after his daughter has gone to bed?

One minute he’s coming to my rescue. The next second he’s complaining about how I fold his work shirts. Fine. Fold them yourself.

It turns out that the only time I don’t get under Chase’s skin is when I’m under him.

And that’s where things get complicated.

From USA Today Bestselling author Adriana Locke comes a grumpy, blue-collar single dad that falls hard for his new nanny. This small-town romance is a standalone novel with tons of heat and even more heart.

More Than I Could is a standalone in the Coming Home series, where one author a month will be delivering a brand-new story about coming home.

Matchmaking a Roommate (Highland Hills #4) by Angela R. Casella, Denise Grover Swank

 Matchmaking a Roommate

(Highland Hills #4)

by Angela R. Casella, Denise Grover Swank

He's her next makeover project. She's his next mistake. Ivy I'm Ivy Anders, popular romance novelist and small-town success story. Or so they say. I tell myself I'm only back in my hometown because my father had a heart attack, but that's not the full story. I can't go home. And the longer I stay, the less I want to. I'm drawn in by my part-time job at Ziggy brewery, which I took to research for my next book, and by the mystery of Lou, my father's stuffy lodger, a temporary transplant from New York. Normally, I wouldn't look twice at someone like Lou. He's a rules guy, and l've never met a rule I didn't want to break just for the fun of it. But it's obvious he needs an intervention to avoid becoming an old man at thirty-four, and I am going to make that happen. Lou I came to Highland Hills to hide.

It's not every day a man loses his professional integrity, his fiancee, and his pet fish all in the same week. The last thing I want is for smoking hot Ivy Anders to get it into her head that I should be her project. But she has, and it's hard as hell to say no to her. Believe me, l've tried. The more time we spend together, the more I realize that I have another problem on my hands: Ivy's everything l'm not-young and wild and free--and she's all I can think about.

But when tragedy strikes, instead of heading to Manhattan, she returns home to care for her ailing father, leaving every bit of her dream behind.

Seven trying years later, Esme is offered a dog-sitting job in Greenwich Village by a mysterious stranger, giving her access to all of her long-buried hopes and dreams—as well as to an epic collection of designer shoes. Esme jumps at a second chance to step into the future she's sure was meant to be hers.

As she retraces her steps, one pair of borrowed shoes at a time, making new friends and reconnecting with her old love, Esme tries on versions of herself she didn’t know existed. But the hazy August days and warm summer nights pass too quickly, and Esme must decide how much of the life she imagined still fits, and what—and who—is on the road ahead of her.

My Review Minus Spoilers. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ BY ME!!πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸŽ§πŸ“š

I listened to this via Audio though the Libby app. This Book was honestly what I needed. I loved the journey of Esme. I loved her character so so much. I laughed, I cried, the shoes… Perfection. It took place with my favorite place to visit, NYC. Esme’s Journey was like a journey for me too. I loved who she interacted with ( I will not give it away.) I  loved that she was a dog sitter and her journey on self determination, discovery and working on trying to overcome heartbreak. This is my second book by the author and I was blown away by this story. It’s a Gem. I felt like it was. The characters will stay with me especially two that I will not say who made me a blubbering mess. Great Read.

Pretty Little Tease (Pretty Obsessions Book 1)

It’s a harmless way for a college student to make extra money… until it isn’t.

Love, Pamela by Pamela Anderson

 Love, Pamela

By Pamela Anderson

The actress, activist, and once infamous Playboy Playmate reclaims the narrative of her life in a memoir that defies expectation in both content and approach, blending searing prose with snippets of original poetry.

In this honest, layered and unforgettable book that alternates between storytelling and her own poetry, Pamela Anderson breaks the mold of the celebrity memoir while taking back the tale that has been crafted about her.

Her blond bombshell image was ubiquitous in the 1990s. Discovered in the stands of a football game, she was immediately rocket launched into fame, becoming Playboy’s favorite cover girl and an emblem of Hollywood glamour and sexuality. But what happens when you lose grip on your own life—and the image the notoriety machine creates for you is not who you really are?

Growing up on Vancouver Island, the daughter of young, wild, and unprepared parents, Pamela Anderson’s childhood was not easy, but it allowed her to create her own world—surrounded by nature and imaginary friends. When she overcame her deep shyness and grew into herself, she fell into a life on the cover of magazines, the beaches of Malibu, the sets of movies and talk shows, the arms of rockstars, the coveted scene at the Playboy Mansion. And as her star rose, she found herself tabloid fodder, at the height of an era when paparazzi tactics were bent on capturing a celebrity’s most intimate, and sometimes weakest moments. This is when Pamela Anderson lost control of her own narrative, hurt by the media and fearful of the public’s perception of who she was…and who she wasn’t.

Fighting back with a sense of grace, fueled by a love of art and literature, and driven by a devotion to her children and the causes she cares about most, Pamela Anderson has now gone back to the island where she grew up, after a memorable run starring as Roxie in Chicago on Broadway, reclaiming her free spirit but also standing firm as a strong, creative, confident woman.

Now MY Review minus spoliers

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.πŸ’«

I have to say that this memoir came up as a book I might enjoy. I will be honest, I was kind of skeptical. In all honesty, it turned out to be a very productive and great read about the life of Pamela Anderson. I will say that I’ve had my own personal thoughts about her through the years but reading this book has made me change certain thoughts about her. I will definitely say that I admire her devotion to her two grown sons, being the type of mother that she wanted to be for her children and her activism towards animals. I think everybody knows the type of lifestyle she lead and she was pretty much honest. That’s my opinion with this memoir. I was able to get this book pretty quick through the Libby app and listen to it via audio and I prefer listening to a lot of memoirs this way, so you can hear the author in their own words. Tell their story. I can remember watching her back in the day on Baywatch. Yes, I did watch that lol. I also knew she was a playboy playmate in about her various relationships. It seems that this stage of her life is she is at peace, and I wish her nothing but success in Great Health in the future and appreciate her, sharing her story with the reader.

Before Us Jewel E. Ann

 I never saw him coming.

I didn’t know what would happen after my client found me sleeping in my car.

I’d been cleaning his house as his wife was dying.

I didn’t expect them to invite me to live with them.

I didn’t expect Suzie to become my lifeline—until she was gone.

I didn’t expect him to ask me to marry him when he found out I needed medical insurance.

I didn’t expect to fall in love with a grieving man.

There are so many reasons to keep my distance from Zach. Every tender moment secreted away.

When we’re not together, I miss the man I call husband.

Does he miss his wife? If so, which one?
